After the huge success of doing so at last year’s show, Lab.gruppen, Lake and Tannoy will be exhibiting together at PL+S 2011, bringing their combined expertise in amplification design, loudspeaker technology and processing prowess to stand E80 in Hall 8 at the Frankfurt Messe.
Centre stage will be the new Tannoy VX Series and VXP Series loudspeakers; the latter a collaborative effort with Lab.gruppen featuring their exciting new Intelli-Drive Energy Efficient Amplifier™ (IDEEA™) power module – a first for the company. Unveiled in February at ISE in Amsterdam, this will be a chance to get a closer look at these innovative sound reinforcement loudspeakers.
On the touring and performance sound side, Lab.gruppen and Lake are showing the PLM™ Series of Powered Loudspeaker Management™ systems, including the flagship PLM 20000Q – featuring enhanced functionality since its launch at last year’s show – and the stalwart FP+ Series of tour-honed amplifiers as well as the Lake LM 26 Digital Audio Loudspeaker Processor. We’ll be demonstrating how operation of the Lake Controller software can be now performed wirelessly via an iPad tablet and providing a sneak peek at the forthcoming Mesa Mode for LM 26 which will allow the unit to be configured as a 4-in/4-out system processor. Mesa Mode is due summer 2011 as part of a software update.
On the install side, Lab.gruppen’s firmly established C Series install-dedicated amplifier platform will once again be on show, this year demonstrating full Crestron® system control – offering even greater integration possibilities in high-end installed audio applications.
What hasn’t changed of course is the best booth hospitality in the Pro Audio industry, and with a well-stocked fridge of beer and the best taste in wine, the Tannoy, Lab.gruppen and Lake team cordially invite you to come by the stand and catch up with some familiar faces. We look forward to seeing you all there.
