Located in Hall 2.0 on stand F20, alongside sister company and show regulars, UK-based loudspeaker manufacturer Tannoy, Lab.gruppen will be exhibiting their unrivalled C Series range of installation-dedicated power amplifiers and industry renowned tour sound products including the brand new PLM 20000Q 4-channel Powered Loudspeaker Management System (featuring Lake Processing) while Lake themselves are showing the new LM 26 standalone Digital Audio Loudspeaker processor.

The mighty PLM 20000Q couples the world’s most powerful four-channel amplifier platform (each discrete channel rated at greater than 5000 W into 2.2 – 3.3 ohms) to the industry-leading digital sound manipulation features of Lake Processing. The result is a seamlessly unified sound reinforcement core that offers unprecedented flexibility, pristine digital filtering and delay, plus effortless ability to drive difficult loads.

The same Lake technology has also been deployed to great effect in the new LM 26 standalone processor. Providing seamless compatibility with Lab.gruppen’s PLM™ Series as well as with all Dolby® Lake Processors and earlier versions of the technology, including Mesa Quad™ and Contour™, the LM 26’s easily programmable EQ and delay capabilities allow quick reconfiguration for use as processor and line driver for self-powered loudspeaker applications as well as for systems using separate power amplifiers. Exclusive Lake processing features incorporated in the LM 26 include Raised Cosine Equalization; linear phase and classical crossovers; and LimiterMax peak and RMS limiters. The Super Module capability allows flexible grouping of processor channels across separate hardware frames, including prior Lake products and PLM Series units.

On the loudspeaker front, Tannoy is showing a wide variety of installed sound products including its flagship VQ Series, recently expanded with new modules to allow for more complex point-source cluster arrays to be designed for demanding fixed applications such as sports stadia. The full range of enclosures will be on show, including a live demonstration VQ NET system.

Also on show is the company’s award-winning QFlex digitally steerable array system, which has been winning favour across the Middle East install market as a superior solution for dealing with challenging and problematic acoustics. This is the perfect opportunity to hear for yourself exactly why Tannoy’s CMS range was specified in such prestige projects as Burj Khalifa, Atlantis Resort and Yas Marina Hotel.

Be sure to pay us a visit on Stand 2F20, where technical staff from Lab.gruppen, Lake and Tannoy will be delighted to answer your questions and discuss any requirements you may have.
