Lab.gruppen’s new flagship C Series amplifier, the powerful single frame 4-channel C 88:4, has romped to victory in the first ever Audio Pro Industry Excellence Awards. Holding off strong competition from major industry names including d&b and Powersoft, the C 88:4 was named Best New Installation Product for these inaugural awards from Audio Pro International.
Winners were selected from a shortlist of five finalists per category, which were themselves selected after a period of industry-wide lobbying through the pages of the magazine and at www.audioprointernational.com. Winners were then voted by a wide panel of judges drawn from all sectors of the industry.
Head of marketing for Lab.gruppen, Tim Chapman, is delighted to add the Audio Pro Award to Lab.gruppen’s growing wall of fame. “Industry awards are always gratifying,” he noted, “especially when you didn’t even know you’d been nominated! This one is particularly pleasing as it’s for a category that isn’t necessarily instantly associated with Lab.gruppen products. However, the installation sector is becoming more and more important for us, and we have responded by developing a range of dedicated products such as our C Series range of amplifiers.
