Lab.gruppen, is delighted to announce the appointment of Ulf Larson to the position of CEO. The appointment will take effect from July 1st following a hand-over period from current CEO, Tomas Lilja who is to take on a new challenge in the software industry after nine highly successful years at the helm of Lab.gruppen.
Anders Fauerskov, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the parent company, TC Group, is very pleased to welcome Larson to his new position. “Ulf has five years of experience in the management team and as manager of various departments in Lab.gruppen, as well as previous experiences as production manager in the defense industry and naval officer in the Swedish Armed Forces. I am confident that he will be able to provide the leadership to execute the Lab.gruppen strategy,” he commented. “He is the ideal person to take over from Tomas, who has made a tremendous contribution over the last nine years, and will work with Ulf over the next few months in order to make the transition as smooth and efficient as possible.”
“After nine years as CEO of Lab.gruppen,” comments Lilja, “I have decided to take on a new challenge in the software industry. It hasn’t been an easy choice, but leading Lab.gruppen through several growth phases and the fact that many goals and visions have been accomplished and fulfilled made me to desire to take on the new challenges of developing a smaller but potentially successful company once again. The difficult part of my decision is that I will miss my staff, customers and friends within the industry.”
Larson is also looking forward to the new challenge. “I am honoured to take up the baton after Tomas as CEO of Lab.gruppen, and am excited by the potential to take the company forward as we continue to expand into new markets,” he remarked. “Since joining Lab.gruppen it has been a pleasure to participate in the company’s growth and progress, and I look forward to managing the further development of Lab.gruppen.”
