One small amplifier for the 8 Ω room and the 100 V line.
Commercial jobs rarely repeat. One room has 8 Ω speakers, the next runs a 100 V line. This 2-channel Class D amplifier covers both. It is convection-cooled and fanless, and carries Energy Star certification.
Two dipswitches choose the load
The first two Config dipswitches set the mode. Choose a line of 100 V or 70 V, or a load of 8 Ω or 4 Ω. Pick 8 Ω for one 8 Ω speaker or two 16 Ω speakers. Use 4 Ω for 4 x 16 Ω, 2 x 8 Ω, or a single 4 Ω speaker. On constant voltage systems, dipswitch 3 brings in an 80 Hz high-pass.
Shelf, rack, wall or table
It can sit on any clear surface on its rubber feet. Rack mounting hardware is also supplied. Two FA units share one rack space. With coupling plates, it fixes to a wall or table.
Remote volume and automatic standby
Each channel can have an optional remote volume control via the RJ45 receptacle. The CRC-V is available as a separate accessory. It drops to standby after 20 silent minutes and comes back once it detects a signal.
