Some installs need one amplifier channel and nothing more. CA601 provides one output channel. No fan: convection cools it, and it holds Energy Star certification.
Matched to the speaker line
Two Config dipswitches pick the output: a 4 Ω or 8 Ω load, or 100 V and 70 V lines. Constant voltage, high impedance speaker systems call for 70 V or 100 V. Dipswitch three cuts lows below 80 Hz with a high-pass filter. It belongs on every constant voltage system and also helps small speakers stay clear.
Asleep when the room is silent
To save power, it goes into standby when 20 minutes pass with no input. As soon as a signal returns at any input, normal operation resumes. A stereo RCA source is summed to mono.
