In a quiet shop or meeting room, nobody wants to hear a cooling fan. The FAD2402 receives two Dante channels over Ethernet and cools by convection, without a fan.
Set each output for the load
The CONFIG switches set each output for 4 Ω, 8 Ω, a 70 V line or a 100 V line. One more switch brings in a high-pass at 80 Hz. The guide advises it for all constant-voltage systems.
Two units, one rack space
The supplied coupling plates join a pair of FAD units so both fill one rack space. With no input for 20 minutes it goes to standby. A returning signal wakes it.
