CM82

Two-output commercial mixer with input routing dipswitches, VOX priority ducking and RCA inputs summed to mono

Where to buy CM82 (0600-AAB)

Paging that reaches both zones.

One building, two zones, and announcements that must cut through the music in each. The CM82 sends its mixed audio to two outputs, each feeding a power amplifier.

Choose what reaches each zone

Out of the box, Output A gets inputs A to D and Output B gets inputs E to H. Engage an input routing dipswitch to send that input to the other output too. That way paging or background music plays in both zones, and the rest stay in their own.

The paging mic goes first

With Priority active, either of the two priority inputs can silence every other channel. A paging mic with a closure switch triggers it by shorting the priority pins. Or set the VOX knob so clear speech crosses the threshold and ambient noise does not. Ducking on the CM82 acts on sources that share the same output.
